Assessment Outcomes

 

This assessment covers the following learning outcomes 

 

Students will be able to identify and analyse determinants of health that contribute to the health status of population groups in New Zealand. 

 

Students will be able to examine health status and determinants of health and their relationship to health inequalities of population groups in New Zealand    

 

Assignment Tasks:

Task 1
1. Identify any three (3) health issues in New Zealand.
2. Discuss morbidity and mortality of the identified health issues in New Zealand.

 

Task 2

1. Discuss any three(3) identified health issues with context to one of the population group each in New Zealand which is most adversely affected.

2. Identify three (3) determinants of health which contribute to the status of two (2) health issues identified in the population group discussed above.

3. Analyse three (3) determinants of health which contribute to the status of two (2) health issues identified in the population groups discussed above
