For example, this set of options may consist of• number of nodes in each hidden layer hidden_layer_sizes• number of hidden layers hidden_layer_sizeshidden_layer_sizes = (10,5) is 2 layers with 10 in layer 1 and 5 neurons in layer 2• activation functions on hidden layers activation• training algorithm solverEssentially any option you can set in the creation of an MLP, see Parameters section of the MLPhttps://scikit-learn.org/stable/modules/generated/sklearn.neural_network.MLPClassifier.htmlAt this stage, your familiarity with EAs should be sufficient to implement a simple EA, but you arewelcome to look at the source code of Python EA libraries and modules if this helps. However, donot rely extensively on other external libraries that already implement EA functionality, unless youare especially creative with it. The choice of EA is up to you, whether it be a Genetic Algorithm (GA)or Evolutionary Strategy (ES) or otherwise; you can even roll your own, but for full marks it should beeither at a similar functional level of complexity to a simple GA, or at least perform similarly well.Finally, compare your EA against the standard exploration of MLP parameters (i.e. GridSearchCV) andprovide a brief report on this comparison.1.
