Students are expected to actively discuss and work with theother members of their group. However, group assignments must not refer to or be similar tothe work of any other group; any collusion of this form will be treated as academicmisconduct and penalised.A list of student names and their UOW email addresses will be available in Moodle by end ofweek 2 for you to contract each other to unite group. A forum for your recruiting groupmember, seeking group and discussion will be available in Moodle too. Students shouldinitiatively to unite group as early as possible. While lecturer will provide necessaryassistance in due time, the lecturer may have to ask/allow whom does not try effort in timeand/or misses chance to be in a group to work for the assignment individually. You areencouraged to communicate between group members by using Webex or Zoom.The assessment is worth a total of 30% and involves a group written report component whichwill be worth 25% and an individual reflection component which will be worth 5%. As this isa group project, each section of the report must identify the name of the student whocompletes that section. The students are required toinvestigate and download the data form the bank homepages, regulator websites, and othersource available in internets. Accordingly, the students analyse the capital adequacy of three2major Australian banks over the past four years (Year 2020 backward) and compare them to agroup of any three major banks in other countries, such as UK., US., Japan, India, China,Indonesia, Malaysia or the county you was born / came from. Your report should address:(1) The relevant capital adequacy regulatory requirements applicable in the respectivecountries. (2) The types of capital used by the banks and a discussion on whether therespective banks have a sufficient level of capital in the research years.
