The style of your essay shouldbe clear, concise, and to the point. Check for grammar, typing or spelling errors. Arequotes, data and evidence used in the text cited correctly? Check for the clarity of yourpresentation and writing, organise your writing into distinct paragraphs. If pertinent, youmay insert figures, graphs, exhibits and tables to clarify your argument.• Insight: to identify key issues and remain focused. Can anything be cut out because it isunnecessary or anecdotal?• Analysis: data/information presentation that avoids mere summaries of the case andreadings. Evidence needs to be provided which shows that concepts have been understoodand applied. Your rationale and reasoning should be explained logically and clearly. Isthere a clear development of argument throughout the essay?• Integration: incorporate other information and knowledge. You should attempt to indicatehow one point follows from another and relate points back to the question/issue to bringout their relevance.• Any conclusions and/or recommendations should follow from your discussion and beconsistent with what is discussed there.
